Inspired by August Wilson’s speech, “The Ground on Which I Stand” (with a touch of Revolutionary Optimism) and launched on the 205th anniversary of The African Grove Theatre, “alive vibrant vital & funded” is activated to transform the narrative about Black theatre and invest in the institutions carrying its legacy into the future.
