The CRAFT Immersive Fellowship is a 6-week program designed to enrich early-career arts professionals with training, research, and service opportunities in New York City. Each Fellow is supported through a two-pronged mentorship model:

Industry Mentorship spearheading experiential learning and real-time industry exposure.

CRAFT Mentorship providing discipline-specific career development grounded in CRAFT’s commitment to culturally inclusive ecosystems.
Together, this structure bridges professional and creative networks, equipping Fellows to identify systemic barriers and discover potential solutions to strategize the future of Black storytelling.

Quaz Degraft
USC
Graduate Acting
Quaz Degraft is a former accountant turned actor and playwright. A first-generation Ghanaian American, he draws on his experiences growing up in Yonkers and Rockland County, New York to tell stories that blend humor, vulnerability, and social insight. A graduate of the USC MFA Acting program and guest star on Power Book III: Raising Kanan, he created In The Black, a dark comedic solo show, inspired by his years in finance.

Aniyah Danielle is an actor, filmmaker, and storyteller from Atlanta,Georgia whose work is rooted in curiosity, connection, and a deep love for the creative process. A recent graduate of Spelman College, she discovered her passion for storytelling through both film and theatre, finding joy in exploring the many ways stories can move and connect people. Whether performing, developing ideas behind the camera, or collaborating with other artists, Aniyah is drawn to work that reflects humanity, complexity, and emotion. Her artistic journey is inspired by her love of cinema, music, and the power of storytelling to create understanding. She hopes to continue expanding her craft as an artist while creating work that celebrates authentic voices and meaningful experiences.

Alia Jones Harvey
Lead Producer/Industry Mentor
The Olivier Award-Winning and 5-time Tony Nominated Producer, has spent the past 17 years mounting productions that feature people of color on the stage, backstage, on the creative team, in management, co-producing, and as investors. Jones-Harvey and her producing partner Stephen C. Byrd blazed a path with Front Row Productions as the only two African American lead producers on Broadway for many years. From Largo, Maryland, Jones-Harvey is a Spelman College (BS, Mathematics) and Georgia Tech (B, Industrial Engineering) grad. She completed her MBA at NYU Stern in Finance and Marketing. She serves on the Boards of the National Urban Technology Center, the Arthur Miller Foundation, and the National Black Theater. Honored with several awards including the AUDELCO Pioneer Award and Broadway Global Producer of the Year, Jones-Harvey is married to Phillip Harvey, producer and host of C3Arts Radio on WHCR, and partner through the entire wild ride in the theatre business!
Goldie Patrick
CRAFT Mentor
For over 25 years Goldie E. Patrick has been passionately working, living, and creating theatre. A graduate of Howard University (BFA-Acting) and Columbia University (MFA-Playwriting) she has been working thoughtfully as a writer, dramaturg, as well as a director—to create works that illuminate the divinity of the Black experience. She is the former founder and artistic director of FRESHH Inc Theatre for Black womxn and girls. In addition to her theatre making career, she has been an educator for over 20 years. Goldie has taught at Howard University, NYU, and Howard County Community College and at SUNY Purchase.
