The International Black Theatre Summit 2023: Satellite Event

The International Black Theatre Summit registration is live! We are honoring BLACK THEATRE FOREVER! ​ Drawing upon our histories, cultures, knowledge and experiences as a field, IBTS participants will collaboratively identify and use our shared strengths to help stabilize and secure the future of Black Theatre. Together, we will strategize collective actions and implement sustainable local, regional, and national models and infrastructures with stakeholders across platforms. We welcome all participants seeking to actualize our aspirational visions throughout the ecosystem of Black theatre, forever.

REGISTRATION FEE $90 General $70 BTN Conference 2023 Attendees (Includes: both Mixers, All Sessions, Breakfast, Lunch, and Afternoon Refreshment Break) SUNDAY, JULY 23, 2023 2pm to 5pm - Registration 3pm to 4:15pm - FLY written and performed by Joseph Edwards at The St. Louis Black Rep ($40 with discount; not included in registration) 5pm to 6:30pm IBTS/BTN “Every Ending is a New Beginning” Welcome Mixer (with Cash Bar) MONDAY, JULY 24, 2023 8am to 9am - Registration 8:15am to 8:30am - Ancestors & Meditation(s) 8:45am to 9:45am - Breakfast 10am to 12:15pm SESSION(S) 12:30pm to 1:30pm LUNCH 1:45pm to 4:15pm SESSION(S) 4:30pm to 6:00pm – Closing Presentations & “Black Theatre Forever” Mixer Please note more information regarding sessions will be released in the coming weeks.

HOTEL INFORMATION

Each guest is responsible for reserving their own room and providing a valid credit card to guarantee their reservation. The deadline to reserve a room within the block is June 26, 2023 after which the rooms will be released to the general public.
